These are some highlights (and lowlights) of my experiences in Argentina and from backpacking Latin America. I hope you guys find as much fun reading them as I did trying to live thru them!!!

Rain rain go away....
It is windy. So windy that my umbrella has fallen apart after about 1 hour of cumilative use. The rain is coming down so hard that it feels like my shower but on permanent COLD. Yesterday afternoon, I jumped off the non-heated, humid, foggy bus to head to my class in business casual clothes. As I tried to run across the street, a truck sped up and passed me. This is the norm, mind you. Jaywalking is a common occurance because if you stand and wait at the crosswalk, you will never get anywhere. As the timeless cliched picture states, tsunami-like puddle water rising up to assault you full frontal, is not fun. I can say I do not miss the rain in Vancouver....
