These are some highlights (and lowlights) of my experiences in Argentina and from backpacking Latin America. I hope you guys find as much fun reading them as I did trying to live thru them!!!

I went to this English group. They are Argentines, with an advanced level of English, who get together once a week to speak English. Nice people. I went to make contacts. I ended up doing an inter-cambio language exchange with a guy called Jose-luis who works for the military. It was tough as he is not a teacher. But good practice for me. Honestly, the English group was kind of like the blind leading the blind. There's a reason why advanced learners have such a difficult time getting past that level. Presumptuous self acheivement. They all made grammatical mistakes, albeit minor, but if they continued with their lessons they would be able to work past that. But with the high costs of education, this is at least a cheaper alternative to maintain their level. Of course they are all older proffessionals, who are kinda stuck in their ways.
